Nate Bakes Broadway is a new YouTube series that celebrates Broadway by honoring shows with fun and creative baking recipes inspired by their stories and cultures. It aims to help audiences reconnect with the productions they love and to support the larger Broadway community during this prolonged shutdown by increasing awareness of the Actors Fund and the work they do to help artists in need.
ABOUT THE ACTORS FUND
The Actors Fund is an organization that continually helps theater artists, as well as professionals from radio, music, television, and so many more industries. They provide a safety net for so many with their offices in Chicago, new York, and LA. They provide housing, day care, financial assistance, health insurance, and so much more. The COVID-19 pandemic has shutdown broadway until 2021, and many artists are struggling, and throughout the entire shutdown, The Actors Fund have done more than ever. They have given over 15 million dollars to over 12,000 different people. But they are far from done, because the need continues to grow exponentially.
